The Laboratory of Comparative Pathology (LCP) is a full service diagnostic lab offering clinical and anatomic pathology services. The LCP supports investigative staff utilizing a variety of animal species as research models. In addition, the LCP supports RARC various RARC activities including biosecurity and animal health programs.

Service Requests
Submissions can be made online via the LCPWebApp. Once completing the online service request form print out the confirmation page with the tracking number on it and bring it to the lab with your specimens.
New users must register by clicking on the Sign Up link, completing the form and clicking Submit. New accounts will be created within two business days.

Co-authorship for LCP staff members on publications is appropriate when their contribution fulfills recommended criteria*. LCP technical or intellectual contributions that do not meet authorship criteria should be recognized by acknowledgement of the individual staff member and/or the LCP. Publications that include LCP contribution should acknowledge funding by the P30 Core Grant and follow the NIH Public Access Policy. Adequate recognition of our contribution to publications will enable us to demonstrate support of a large number of laboratories in order to maintain funding for our operations.
